Take Proper Care of Your Natural Stone

Make sure your natural stone stands the test of time with these everyday care and maintenance tips provided by Creative Marble Products Inc. These tips are applicable for cultured marble, onyx, and granite products.

Gloss
To preserve your natural stone's high-gloss surface for years to come, we recommend that you use a soft dry towel or chamois daily to remove excess soap and water spots. You should periodically apply a high-quality auto wax or cultured marble wax (Gel-Gloss is highly recommended) to maintain your stone's shine and give it a protective coating.

You should never use scouring pads or powders to clean your stone as they will damage the high-gloss surface.
 
Satin
If your satin-finished stone becomes shiny in spots or slightly scratched, we recommend that you use a 3M Scratch Pad to take care of the issues. You can remove everyday soil from the stone with mild soaps and liquid or spray bathroom cleaners. Countertop Magic is highly recommended for satin finishes.
 
All Products
Excessively hot water is not recommended for everyday cleaning. Be sure not to leave moisture/water under soap dishes, glasses, and other items for long periods of time, as stone discoloration may occur.
